The New Parents’ Welcome Evening takes place at the start of the academic year and gives parents the opportunity to visit the school and meet their daughter’s Form Tutor.
Upon arrival, parents are invited to tour the Chapman Sports Centre and Bancroft Building before presentations start in the Sports Hall.
Mr Lawlor, Headteacher and Mr Miles, Chair of Governors welcomes our parents followed by a talk from our Parents Association. Miss Harrison explores the Pastoral World before handing over to Mrs Lewis, the Year Leader for Year 7. There is a presentation from Mrs Cross where she gives an academic overview and then parent’s get to see their daughter’s form room with their daughter’s form tutor and have the opportunity to ask any questions.
It is an enjoyable evening which helps build those lasting relationship with families.
