CCHS now offers the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE); across the 2018-19 academic year we are running the Bronze Award with over half of our Year 9 students.
This is an important addition to our extra-curricular provision and we will develop this offer next year and beyond.
We work with training and expedition experts who currently run the highly-regarded Chelmsford City D of E scheme and they are our Approved Activities Provider.
Our colleagues at Essex County Council support us as our Licensing Authority.
