Advocating for Girls’ Schools

CCHS is a proud and active member of the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools (ICGS). For thirty years, ICGS has been the leading advocate for girls’ schools. ICGS work with over 270 girls’ schools around the world by providing networking, research, professional development, and advocacy programmes focused on girls’ learning and healthy development. This growing global network includes more than 24,000 educators, 120,000 students, and nearly one million alumnae.

The work of ICGS is to advance the mission of girls’ schools. Girls’ schools play a vital role in educating and empowering girls, which is essential to overcoming our world’s greatest challenges, from climate change to human rights, from global health to sustainable human development. The purpose of ICGS is to nurture the girls who will become the indispensable women leaders of tomorrow. When it comes to girls’ education, there is always more we can do, together.
