Every year, thousands of families across England share their views through the official Ofsted Parent View survey. Using this data, the Great British Schools Guide has ranked every secondary school in England by parental perceptions of whether the school ensures its pupils are ‘well behaved’. Based on the percentage of parents who agreed or strongly agreed with the statement “the school makes sure its pupils are well behaved”, Chelmsford County High School for Girls (CCHS) is ranked joint 3rd in England, and 1st in the East of England.

The Great British Schools Guide lists “the safest state schools in England, as rated by parents – data reveals the schools where children feel most secure and how safety links to performance.” Chelmsford County High School for Girls (CCHS) is ranked 6th nationally, and 2nd in the East of England, according to the Great British Schools Guide. The Great British Schools Guide undertook a close analysis of Ofsted survey data on schools scoring highest on safety according to parents. Schools were ranked by the guide according to the most recent responses from Ofsted’s Parent View survey.
