Chess & scrabble
This takes place on the first Thursday of every month and lasts for the whole of lunch. Students can bring food to eat while enjoying a game of chess or scrabble
Book group
The book group has been shadowing the Essex Book Award shortlisted titles with discussions on The Extinction Trials and A Darkness of Dragons with the winner being announced every year in March
Film club
Students from all years enjoyed the latest film showing of Incredibles 2 along with their cups of popcorn. The film club screenings happen every term and past films have included The Greatest Showman and Paddington 2.
Extra Clubs
There are packs of cards in the library for students to use during break or lunch and the study tables are available if students wish to form their own suitable clubs.
