International coalition of girls’ schools – Chelmsford County High School for Girls
CCHS is proud to be organising and hosting the UK International Coalition of Girls’ Schools (ICGS) Student Leadership Symposium for Year 12 students in October, following the highly successful inaugural symposium we led and hosted last year.
Miss Harrison and Miss Burnham have again arranged an excellent programme of keynote presentations and a host of workshops for students from UK and European girls’ schools. As last year, we are delighted that members of the CCHS Alumnae will be attending to inspire students.
This is particularly poignant for CCHS given that this academic year we are marking both the 120th anniversary of the first girls to be taught at the school, and the 110th anniversary of the first CCHS Alumna to complete university studies: Winifred Picking, Girton College, Cambridge, 1916.
Connect Your Students to Transformative, Girl-Cantered Leadership Experiences with ICGS
You know the difference it makes when students use their voices, step into leadership, and connect with peers who challenge and inspire them. That’s exactly what ICGS provides: opportunities for your students to grow as changemakers while building their global network.
This year, your school has three exciting opportunities to engage student leaders and expand their horizons in London, Sydney, and Washington, D.C.
