The CCHS Senior Prefect Team are organising a fête and festival for the entire school community, entitled ‘Amplify’, taking place this afternoon. Building on their theme of ‘Your Voice, Your Power’, the Senior Prefects have planned a colourful afternoon of celebration and fun to raise money for VoiceAbility, a national charity which offers advocacy and support for those who may need assistance in having their voices heard. Many of VoiceAbility’s services are specifically for people with long-term conditions, such as dementia or learning disabilities. About half of the people they work with are over the age of 60. Thank you to the Senior Prefects and the Parents’ Association for all the work that has gone into planning this charity event.
