Student Societies

A huge range of activities are offered to students both at lunchtimes and after school. Many of these societies are led by teaching and support staff but many are led by students themselves – this student leadership is something of which the school is very proud. Activities are offered across all subjects, some for academic enrichment and others to assist students in developing skills and knowledge that will be valuable to them. Extra-curricular Music, Art, Dance, Drama and Sport are particular strengths of the school; these and other clubs and societies provide students with valuable opportunities to step away from the busy round of lessons, to meet new friends and to try new things. The school’s vibrant House system also gives all students the opportunity to join in a range of competitions throughout each academic year, ranging from the serious, such as House Drama, House Music, Sports Day and House Debating to the more light-hearted such as House Karaoke.

Please see below for a snapshot of the range of activities which are offered on a weekly basis.
