We have a well-developed Careers programme, delivered through the PSHE programme, designed to encourage students to reflect on aspects of the world of work and the factors involved in their future decision making. They are fully supported in selecting their GCSE options and Sixth Form choices and also have access to independent advice from the All Age Careers Service.
The vast majority of our students go onto Higher Education, to study for high quality degrees at prestigious universities. We are very experienced in supporting students through their UCAS applications, and a number of our students are successful in achieving places at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge each year.
Please see information about the Russell Group universities and the 1994 Group of universities
Students are given information about the UCAS application process during PSHE sessions in year 12 and begin their applications in the summer term. The Sixth Form tutors and the Sixth Form team continue to support the students throughout the application process in Year 13 and on IB Results Day in July and A level Results Day in August.
