Phase One of the School’s long-term campus development plan includes the construction of a new Sports Hall and a new teaching block to replace Bancroft. Plans have been drawn up in conjunction with the School’s professional advisors and a funding bid has been submitted to central government. We expect to hear the outcome of this bid in early April 2018 and if successful, it is envisaged that work on the Sports Hall will start in the summer of 2018.
The project timeline has been developed to ensure minimal disruption to the life of the School. Work on the Sports Hall is expected to take approximately 12 months with the new facility being available from September 2019. Once this is completed, work will commence on the new teaching block and this is scheduled for completion by September 2020.

During the summer holidays in 2018, the School is planning to complete some refurbishment of existing facilities. This includes creating a kitchen/servery in our new Sixth Form Common Room; converting an older classroom into two modern teaching areas; converting a further classroom into a space suitable for lectures and House assemblies.
