Students in Year 10 and Year 11 are attending the Chelmsford Science & Engineering Society annual Christmas lecture at Anglia Ruskin University today. Professor Neil Lawrence, DeepMind Professor of Machine Learning at The University of Cambridge, will be discussing the world of Artificial Intelligence. Professor Lawrence will talk about the limitations of artificial intelligence, why he finds the notion of artificial general intelligence absurd, and how there’s a part of us that can never be replaced by the machine.
