Driving – Blue Badge parking on campus
Please note that due to the number of visitors we receive, we can only offer parking on campus for Blue Badge holders. If you require this facility, please email office@cchs.co.uk with your vehicle make, registration and anticipated arrival time.
Driving – non Blue Badge holders
We recommend that you park at Rectory Lane West car park, which is located in Elms Drive, post code CM1 1RE. This is approximately a two minute walk from our campus. The charge after 5pm is £1.70 for the duration of your stay (up until 5am). Please avoid parking on local roads so that our local community are not disturbed.
Rail
The nearest station is Chelmsford, which is approximately 10 minutes walk from our campus.
Bus
There are a number of bus routes that stop near us. The nearest bus stop is Keene Homes, which is less than a minute away from our campus. Alternatively, Chelmsford bus station is approximately a 10 minute walk.
Park & Ride
There are two park and ride sites near Chelmsford:
Sandon park and ride is located just off the A12. For satnav users this is located at CM2 7RU. The nearest stop to us is located at the Chelmsford City Centre Careers Office, which is close to the railway station and is approximately a 15 minute walk
Chelmer Valley park and ride is located on Essex Regiment way, satnav CM3 3PZ. The nearest stops to us are either the Chelmsford City Centre Careers Office, or Anglia Ruskin University, both of which are approximately a 15 minute walk from our campus.

However you choose to travel, please allow plenty of time for your journey as Chelmsford can get very busy in the early evening.
