Job Description

Chelmsford County High School for Girls is one of the most successful girls’ selective schools in the country. Our academic standards are extremely high and the extracurricular opportunities are numerous and varied. We have a tradition of competing up to a very high level with all our teams and hope to reintroduce Hockey teams competing locally, regionally and eventually nationally.

We are looking for a dynamic coach who would inspire, nurture and motivate our students to excel. We have students within the performance system up to Regional level so in-depth knowledge of the game is vital. We require a candidate who has either teacher status and/or a level 2 coaching qualification. The main responsibilities would be coaching, administration and managing fixtures both locally and within the county. You may also be required to umpire at the fixtures.

The coaching sessions will occur straight after school on two separate days. Looking to coach Years 7-9 together and Years 10-13.  Sessions will last approximately one and half hours unless a fixture requires additional time due to travelling away from home. Being able to drive a minibus would be an advantage.

Interested candidates should email a letter of application with their CV to:  Mrs Hazel Bates

Closing date for receipt of applications is:  Friday 17th November 2017
