Required for September 2008

Chelmsford County High School is one of the most successful girls' selective schools in the country. We are a Specialist Technology, Music and Language College with an excellent record of working with our partner schools

The Design and Technology department is progressive and highly successful, with excellent results at GCSE and A-level.

We are seeking a graduate teacher to teach Design and Technology with a holistic view of the subject, ideally able to teach across the disciplines of Resistant Materials, Graphics, Textiles and Electronics, although any specialism within these will be considered.

The successful applicant will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 groups; some aspects of A-Level Product Design may be available as well as input in the enrichment project.

We will appoint a person who can demonstrate the ability to adopt a broad range of teaching and learning approaches and embrace the Key Stage 3 Strategy. A commitment to high standards in all aspects of the role is essential.

As an Investor in People we offer a well established programme of staff induction and CPD support.
