LTA British Tennis run a variety of school tennis competitions. This year CCHS´s Junior Tennis Team are competing in the National Schools Year 8 and under competition which is open to all schools in the country. This competition gives junior players an opportunity to hone their match skills and learn how to play in a team, whilst being given the opportunity to represent their school. Last year we were runners Up at the Regional round and so this year we are looking to progress further. In each round teams of 4 players represent their school. Each player is seeded in order of ability and plays their opposite number in singles. The match is then completed with 2 sets of doubles.
