Old Girls' Society

Who we are and what we do

Don´t be put off by our name - The Old Girls´Society. OGS, as it is affectionately called, has more than a thousand members of all ages and from all walks of life. Some of us have just left CCHS this year, some of us are mid-career and with families, and some of us can remember school as it was years and years ago.

Life membership costs just £10.00. We send you two newsletters each year, with details of our annual events, happenings at school, news from other members, reader´s letters and more. The newsletters always provoke plenty of replies and enquiries, and we´ve helped many people organise their private reunions.

You will be invited to enjoy music, dance and drama performances at school, and attend events like Commemoration at Chelmsford Cathedral and PTA social evenings.

We continue to have a close relationship with today´s school community, and some old girls help current pupils with careers advice, work experience or by sharing their experiences in work, university, - and just life! See our section on Networking.
