The Old Girls Society was set up in 1908 soon after the school opened in 1907. You can read more about the history of our school in the history section of this website.
Today, the Society has over one thousand members currently, including ex-teachers as honorary members. We have members of ALL ages. Our oldest member, Dorothy, left school in 1935, and every year many of the leaving Year 13 ladies join us - 37 in 2011, plus ten more joiners who left school some years ago.
Our society is very keen to maintain links with past pupils, by keeping you in touch with us, and with each other. We can do this in the following ways -
We also encourage you to revisit the school, to see the changes that have taken place to modernise the school, and to see those things that have stayed the same, continuing our long tradition of learning and friendship.
