The Department for Education has announced that examinations for students in England will go ahead during summer 2021, but to account for disruption caused by the pandemic, most AS, A levels and GCSEs will be held three weeks later: Monday 7 June – Friday 2 July 2021.
One GCSE Mathematics and one GCSE English examination will be held just before the May half-term, aiming to give any Year 11 pupils who are affected by Covid-19 the best possible chance of still sitting a paper in each of these core subjects.
Results days will be:
A/AS Level – Tuesday 24 August 2021
GCSE – Friday 27 August 2021
to ensure students are able to start the following academic year as normal.
