Young Enterprise 2015

Congratulations to Team Titanium for winning the prize for Best Overall Company for their book, ‘By Girls, For Girls, About Girls’ at the Young Enterprise Trade Fair held at The Meadows shopping Centre, Chelmsford on 26th February.

American University Offer

Many congratulations to Jenny Gilbert on receiving the offer of a place on the Honours Programme at Northeastern University in Boston with a merit scholarship of $15,000 per year.

Oxford Union Debating

Year 12 students, Ife Taiwo and Penny Streatfeild competed in the Oxford Union Debating competition this week, they performed extremely well and debated on two unprepared motions.

Five Year 12 students are taking part in the Micro-Tyco challenge. The aim is to raise as much money in 1 month (1st February to 2nd March 2015) for the WildHearts Foundation. WildHearts fund microfinance across the developing world to help people set up small businesses to work their way out of poverty with dignity. Offers for Oxbridge 2015

This year, 17 of our students are holding offers from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge for entry 2015. Three students have offers for Medicine, two for Mathematics, History and English with further offers for Geography, Natural Sciences, Classics, Law, Economics, Music, German and Linguistics and Human and Political Sciences. We congratulate them on this achievement for places on very competitive courses.
